A gents Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk dress watch in steel, circa 1950’s. 34mm screw back stainless steel case in overall very good condition. Slim polished bezel and gently tapered lugs. Factory original silver satin dial with 12 and 6 marked with oversized applied silver arabic indices, 3 and 6 with pointed batons and ancillary with darts. Black printed outer minute track with 12 and 6 o’clock positions marked with radium filled triangles. Overall good condition with faint radium burn, minor aging and small scratch near the center. Silver dauphine hands inset with radium strips indicate the time along with a center sweep second hand. Applied silver GP logo. Signed “Girard-Perregaux”, “SEA HAWK”, “SWISS”.
Original hand wound Girard-Perregaux movement with 17 jewels in excellent condition. The movement is clean, winding and running well and keeping time.
