GIRARD PERREGAUX REF. 6083 | CAL 44AE | STEEL

This vintage Girard Perregaux reference 6083 is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition.  The 34mm stainless steel case is unpolished and retains its original sharp edges.

Wrist presence is enhanced by the original case finishes.  A high polish on the stepped bezel and faceted lugs gives way to brushed case sides.  On the original white dial is a blue-printed date track with sub seconds, blued applied Breguet numerals and original blued steel feuille hands.  Month and day functions are operated via side pushers.  Case back engraved “John J. Carnevale 1957”.  Small loss of material to inside of the 11 o’clock lug (see photos).

The watch is powered by a rhodium-plated cal. 44AE 314 with 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber and self compensating flat balance spring.

Included with a leather strap, stainless steel buckle and black travel case.
