An attractive mid-century open face pocket watch retailed by the Swiss jeweler E. Gübelin. The stainless steel case measures 46mm in diameter and remains in very good condition overall with no major blemishes. The original two-tone silver dial has aged to a light cream with an evenly distributed light patina throughout and minor scuffs and occasional scratches. Signed “E. GÜBELIN”, “SWISS”. Original bronze hour, minute and subsidiary seconds hands.
Inside is a generously decorated hand winding caliber with attractive Geneva Stripes, gold chatons and 15 jewels. The movement is winding, running well and keeping time.
