A very fine and scarce Audemars Piguet gents “tank” ultra-thin wrist watch in white gold with NOS vintage suede AP strap and buckle, circa 1960. The counterpart to the more commonly found round ultra-thin, the rectangular case measures 25mm excluding the crown, with alternating brushed and polished surfaces and a snap down case back. The characteristic silver ultra-thin dial is in exceptional condition throughout. Silver baton hour and minute hands. Signed “AUDEMARS PIGUET”, “SWISS”.
Powering the watch is an excellently preserved Audemars Piguet caliber 2003. The watch is winding, running well and keeping time.
Delivered on a NOS AP strap with 18kt WG buckle.
