OMEGA SEAMASTER 30 135.007 -64 BLACK DIAL | CAL 286 | 1964 | STEEL

INQUIRE

Omega introduced the first Seamaster 30 reference 135.007 in 1962.  This particular watch left the workshop in Bienne in 1965.  The original steel case is unpolished, retains its original bevels and measures 35mm excluding signed original crown.  Case back hippocampus medallion is crisp and defined showing no evidence of polishing.

Original, factory finished black dial is in near perfect condition with original luminous plots.  Some refer to dials of this configuration as “military” style, and indeed similar examples were delivered to the British MoD for issue to the Royal Air Force.  There is also speculation that a number of watches of this type may have been delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force, although this watch in particular does not bear specific markings distinguishing it as military.  Regardless, a fine example of Omega’s black dialed Seamaster 30.

Original hour, minute and seconds hands are all present.

Original 17 jewel Omega caliber 286 hand-winding movement is in excellent condition, running well and keeping time.

An Extract from the Archives is included and will be delivered with the watch.

Delivered on buyers choice of MoD style NATO or vintage Tropic rubber strap.
