A quintessential 1950’s center seconds Omega watch in a modern wearable size. Â This gents Omega 2640 -4 is cased in stainless steel and dates from 1952 measuring 36mm excluding the original signed crown. Â The case is full and thick, in overall fine condition with grooved sweeping lugs.
Original desirable two tone factory finished dial with black crosshairs shows minor wear. Â Applied arrow indices mark the odd numbers and arabic the even. Â Original silver dauphine hands show some oxidation. Â Puffy, flaky radium on indices.
The original Omega caliber 283 hand winding movement is extremely clean, running well and keeping time.
