NIVADA GRANCHEN CHRONOMASTER AVIATOR SEA DIVER | VAL 23 | CA 1970 | STEEL

Nestled at the foot of the Jura mountains, some of the more recognizable names in watchmaking call the small Swiss town of Grenchen home.  Popular brands Breitling, Eterna, Fortis, movement manufacture ETA as well as the lesser known brand Nivada.  Nivada launched the Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver in 1963 in the thick of the sports chrono craze.  The watch could be had with a selection of dial and hand combinations and housed various movements, namely the Landeron 210 and 248, the Venus 210, and the Valjoux 92 and 23.

This gents Nivada Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver is cased in stainless steel and measures 38mm excluding the original signed crown.  Original case facets have been preserved.  Original black bezel in excellent condition.

Factory finished original black dial with white crest and logo.  This dial has not been retouched, repainted or refinished in any way.  CHRONOMASTER, AVIATOR, SEA DIVER printed in white at 6.  White baton hour and minute hands, white subdial hands.  Red center chronograph hand.

Original Valjoux 23 column wheel chronograph movement is exceptionally clean, running well and keeping excellent time.  All functions in working order.

This Nivada Grenchen Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver chronograph is delivered on a modern MOD NATO strap.
