A fine gents Audemars Piguet reference 5043BC wrist watch in an uncommon combination of white lacquer dial and white gold case, circa 1968.  One of Gérald Genta’s earliest designs for Audemars Piguet was also one of AP’s longest running.  The 5043 first emerged in the early  1950’s and was present in AP’s product line for decades.

The sharp, unpolished 18kt white gold case measures 32mm excluding the original unsigned crown and features brushed case sides and polished bezel and lug tops.  The case has been exceptionally well preserved and is in excellent condition.

Factory original white dial with black printing in excellent condition.  Light discoloration at 3 o’clock nearly invisible to the naked eye.  Signed “AUDEMARS PIGUET, GENEVE, SWISS”.  Stick hands in white gold.

Immaculate Audemars Piguet caliber 2003 “ultra thin” movement with 17 jewels and adjusted to four positions.  The movement is winding, running well and keeping excellent time.
