A fine and rare gents Audemars Piguet “Clous-du-Paris” wrist watch in 18kt yellow gold crafted in 1967. The yellow gold c-shaped case features Cloud-du-Paris details on the top and brushed sides with a screw down back, and measures 34.5mm excluding the original crown. The overwhelming majority of watches made by Audemars Piguet in this configuration were made with automatic movements, with this watch being one of very few featuring a manual wind caliber 2003. Because of this the watch is exceedingly thin, measuring only 3.5mm thick. The “Cloud-du-Paris” detail is carried onto the factory original gold dial which remains in outstanding untouched condition. Signature black baton hands with applied baton hour markers. Signed “AUDEMARS, PIGUET”, “GENÈVE”, “SWISS”. The hand winding caliber 2003 is winding, running well and keeping time.
