A classic gents Girard-Perregaux dress watch in steel, circa 1960s. Simple and elegant, this well preserved timepiece epitomizes the classic dress watch of the golden era of watchmaking. In fact, the aesthetic worked so well Girard-Perregaux used many of the same design cues in their modern 1966 line. The 34mm steel snap back case is in excellent unpolished condition framing an immaculate factory original silver dial. Marking the hours are polished silver batons as well as polished silver hands. A subsidiary seconds marked in quadrants completes the look. Signed “Girard-Perregaux, SWISS MADE”.
