An exceptional and unique gents Rolex reference 6305 Datejust wristwatch with all original parts, circa 1955. The 36mm steel case remains in excellent overall condition with full and thick lugs. The machined bezel remains in excellent unpolished condition with crisp, defined ribbing. A factory original SWISS-only white dial has turned a deep tropical cream, with evidence of aging throughout both the dial and the applied silver dart markers. Original alpha-style hands generously reflect the same age pattern. Roulette date wheel. Small blemish on the original crystal at 9 o’clock. Black dashed outer minute track measures 1/5 seconds. Signed ‘ROLEX’, ‘OYSTER-PERPETUAL’, ‘DATEJUST’, ‘OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED CHRONOMETER’.
Powering the watch is a freshly serviced automatic winding Rolex movement with a total of 25 jewels (8 in the chronometer, 7 in the rotor module). The watch is winding, running well and keeping excellent time.
