We’re pleased to offer this fine and very rare gents Audemars Piguet “disco” wrist watch with factory black dial, circa 1955. The ultra-slim yellow gold case features a polished finish and measures 30mm in diameter excluding the original unsigned crown. The distinguishing feature is the beautifully preserved factory original gloss black dial, of which Audemars Piguet produced exceedingly few of during this time period. The signature and hour markers are executed in delicate gold printing.
Powered by a beautifully worked Audemars Piguet caliber 2003 ultra thin hand winding movement with 17 jewels, adjusted to temperatures and 4 positions, and decorated generously Côtes de Genève.
Delivered on a modern crocodile leather strap with original signed 18kt yellow gold buckle.
