Gents Longines wrist watch in stainless steel, circa 1954. 35mm steel case, unpolished with minimal age related wear closing via a snap-down case back. Inner case back is signed “FAB SUISSE” for the French market, along with “SWISS MADE”. Sculpted Art Deco style lugs with high polished facets. A thin bezel surrounds the original vertically brushed satin silver dial. Applied arabic numerals alternating darts, all furniture in rose gold tone. Alpha hands indicate time with subsidiary seconds. Small discoloration to very edge at 1 o’clock, otherwise in excellent condition. Signed “LONGINES”, with applied winged hourglass logo in rose gold. Powering the watch is the original Longines hand-winding caliber 12.68Z, containing 17 jewels which has been freshly serviced. The watch is winding, running well and keeping time.
