A handsome, classically styled Mido Multifort wrist watch, circa the 1950s. The Taubert-made steel case measures 34mm featuring a screw down case back and signature signed mushroom crown. Factory original satin silver dial with recessed hour markers in polished silver. Outer black printed minute track. Original silver sword hands with center sweep seconds. Signed “MIDO”, “MULTIFORT”, “SUPERAUTOMATIC”, “POWERWIND”, “SWITZERLAND”.
Powering the watch is a Mido caliber 917R with 17 jewels. The movement is clean, winding and running well and keeping time.
