An exceptionally well preserved and original gents Vacheron Constantin reference 4301 wrist watch with box, buckle, contemporary bracelet and extract circa 1944. This time capsule was donated to a charity auction by the family of the original owner and features an unpolished and sharp 35mm steel case with screw down case back. Factory original silver bi tonal dial with radium filled arabic indices. Signed “VACHERON & CONSTANTIN, GENEVE, SWISS”. Dial is in exceptional condition with even age wear. Note the small blemish above “VACHERON” and along the outer edge between 2 and 3 o’clock. Blued steel syringe hands and center sweep seconds.
Freshly serviced Vacheron & Constantin hand winding caliber 454 is exceptionally clean, running well and keeping time.
Delivered on a modern leather strap with original vintage V&C buckle, box, contemporary BOR bracelet and archive extract.
