A handsome gents Vacheron Constantin dress watch in yellow gold, circa 1945. 32mm snap back case in solid 18kt yellow gold with classic “Cornes de Vache” horn lugs. Factory original brushed silver dial with applied yellow gold dart and arabic hour indices, and black printed minute track. Discoloration around outer edges and around 1 o’clock marker. Yellow gold baton style hour and minute hand, lacking central seconds. Signed “VACHERON & CONSTANTIN”, “GENEVE”.
Original hand winding VC caliber V466 with 17 jewels, and adjusted to temperatures. The movement is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition, is running well and keeping time.
