A sharp, unpolished gents Mido Multi-Centerchrono with original bi-tone copper dial, circa 1940’s.  Mido produced the Multi-Centerchrono in several different dial variations throughout the 1940’s.  The metallic copper variant seen here is particularly striking.  The unpolished stainless steel case measures 35mm and was made by case maker Taubert et Fils who also produced the cases of some of Patek Philippes most sought after chronographs of the era.  The signature ribbed pushers seen here were the exact type used on Patek Philippes’ first waterproof chronograph, the ref. 1463.  This watch retains its original unsigned crown.  Screw down case back with inner dust cover.  Overall wear commensurate with age.  White painted dagger hands with silver and blue chronograph hands.  Note the small repair to the minute hand luminous material.  Radium filled arabic hour markers.  Even spotting to the dial.  Tachymeter, telemeter, second track in white.

Valjoux based Mido caliber 1300 is in overall good condition with all complications functional.  The service history is unknown but the watch is running well and keeping time.
