A gents Omega Constellation 168.017 of “Merit En Bloc” provenance in a vintage Omega watch box.  Mint, unpolished stainless steel case with original bevels present.  34mm excluding the original signed crown.  This case configuration, known as “c-shaped”, was designed by the late Gerald Genta of Royal Oak, Bvlgari and Nautilus fame.

Vertically brushed silver dial is factory original and in mint condition.  Applied baton indices in black, “OMEGA”, logo and Constellation star in silver.  Silver rimmed date window at 3 o’clock.  Hour and minute hands with black and lume plackets and silver minute hand are all original to the watch.  Original logo stamped plexiglass crystal.

Original and extremely clean automatic Omega caliber 561 with 24 jewels, running well and keeping excellent time.  One of the famed 100,000 movements (serial number 24,410,000 through 24,509,999) that earned the designation “Merit En Bloc” for superior accuracy during chronometer trials between October 1964 and February 1966.

Delivered on the black crocograin leather Hirsch strap pictured.
