A gents LeCoultre Memovox reference 2906 in stainless steel with uncommon silver dial, circa 1960’s.  The case measures just shy of 36mm in diameter excluding the crowns and displays wear commensurate with age.  The factory original silver dial features faceted machined bars set lengthwise marking hours, an characteristic aesthetic of watch designer Gerald Genta, variations of which can be found in his work throughout the 1950’s and ’60’s.  The original silver baton hands mark the time along with a central sweep seconds hand, and silver rimmed date window at 6 o’clock.  Signed “LeCoultre”, “MEMOVOX”, “T SWISS T”.
