A fine and rare gents Audemars Piguet rectangular watch in 18kt yellow gold, circa 1949.  The case is in excellent condition and measures 24.5mm wide by 25mm high with a snap on back.  Original gold vertically brushed dial with lightly toned applied gold indices.  Gold baton hour and minute hands with subsidiary seconds.  Dial signed “AUDEMARS, PIGUET, GENEVE, SWISS.”

Hand winding chronometer grade 9/10 RS movement with 18 jewels and 8 adjustments.  Overall very clean, winding and running well and keeping time.
