From the Polaris to the Reverso, Jaeger-LeCoultre has produced incredible watches and provided movements to legendary watchmakers – Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin to name two.  Jaeger-LeCoultre marketed its watches in the US market under the brand LeCoultre.  Here we have a nicely preserved gents LeCoultre wrist watch in stainless steel from the 1940’s.  The case is full and thick, in good condition displaying wear commensurate with age and measures 33.75mm excluding the unsigned crown.  Uncommon 24-hour format factory finished original two-tone silver dial with light cream patina.  Arabic indices in radium lume.  Blued steel sword hands and subsidiary seconds.  Inner railroad style minute track.  Signed “LECOULTRE”, “SWISS”.

Original LeCoultre caliber P450/3 is clean, running well and keeping time.

Delivered on a period steel Bonklip bracelet.
